HAIR CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Proper maintenance ensures longevity, shine, and the continued health of both your extensions and natural hair. Whether your client wears straight or textured hair, each requires specific care techniques to maintain integrity and beauty.

STRAIGHT HAIR CARE

Straight extensions should be washed with gentle, sulfate-free products and handled delicately to prevent tangling or cuticle friction. Always start detangling from the ends and work upward using a Salon Xtensions Boar Bristle Brush. Avoid excessive oils or heavy serums that can weigh the hair down or loosen bonds. Straight hair should be air-dried or styled using a professional-grade heat protectant to preserve its smooth cuticle alignment and natural shine.

TEXTURED HAIR CARE

Textured extensions, including wavy, curly, and coily types, require additional moisture retention. Use a moisturizing, pH-balanced shampoo and conditioner formulated for textured hair. When brushing, use a wide-tooth comb or your fingers to maintain the curl pattern. Always style with hydrating leave-in conditioners or lightweight oils that protect the natural structure and prevent frizz. Avoid brushing dry curls—hydrate before detangling for best results.

A Weekly Detox Must

MALIBU C HARD WATER WELLNESS WEEKLY DETOX SYSTEM

Proper care begins with science. HOW TO USE – WEEKLY DETOX INSTRUCTIONS

1. Pre-Rinse

Thoroughly wet the hair with warm water to open the cuticle. Ensure all extensions are fully saturated from root to ends.

2. Cleanse with Malibu C Hard Water Wellness Shampoo

Apply a small amount and gently lather through the hair and scalp. Massage carefully, avoiding aggressive scrubbing or tangling of extensions. Rinse thoroughly.

3. Activate the Brown Malibu C Crystallized Vitamin C Packet

Open one brown packet and pour the contents into your palm. Add a few drops of water to activate and form a light paste. Work evenly through the hair from roots to ends. Allow the formula to sit for 5 minutes to dissolve mineral buildup and neutralize metals. Rinse thoroughly with warm water.

4. Follow with Malibu C Hard Water Wellness Conditioner

Apply evenly, focusing on the mid-lengths and ends. Leave on for 3–5 minutes, then rinse with cool water to close the cuticle and lock in moisture.

5. Dry and Style

Gently squeeze out excess water with a microfiber towel. Apply approved leave-in products and style as desired using low-to-medium heat.
