Salon Xtensions Return & Exchange Policy

Our Commitment to Quality

Salon Xtensions takes exceptional pride in our craftsmanship and quality assurance. We guarantee that every customer receives premium-grade hair extensions and expertly crafted products. We back this commitment with a 30-Day Limited Warranty covering manufacturer defects prior to installation.


30-Day Limited Warranty

  • Coverage Period: 30 calendar days from the date of order (not the date of installation).

  • Eligibility: Products must be unused, unaltered, and in their original sealed packaging.

  • Expiration: No returns, exchanges, or store credits will be considered after the 30-day period.

This timeframe accommodates customers who may not install their extensions immediately and typically schedule appointments 2–3 weeks post-purchase.


What Is Covered (Pre-Installation Only)

The limited warranty applies only to manufacturer defects before installation. These include:

  1. Excessive Shedding: Defined as more than 10–15 strands per day. (All human hair naturally sheds within normal limits.)

  2. Color Discrepancy: Hair color not matching the Salon Xtensions Color Ring used at time of order. (Customer must provide clear photo evidence of hair held against our color ring.)

  3. Stitching/Weft Integrity Issues: Unraveling or broken stitching (rare, but covered).


What Is Not Covered

The limited warranty does not apply to:

  • Opened or Used Packages: Any product removed from its original sealed packaging.

  • Custom Orders: Final sale, non-refundable, and non-returnable.

  • Post-Installation Issues: Once hair is installed, warranty coverage ceases.

  • Damage Caused By:

    1. Improper installation or move-ups.

    2. Chemical processing, including toning, lifting, purple shampoo, or bleaching.

    3. Color deposits, rooting, or other alterations.

    4. Environmental exposure to UV rays, salt water, chlorine, pH-imbalanced water, or hard mineral/well water.

    5. Haircare products outside our approved 3-Step Extension Care System by Malibu C Hard Water Wellness.


Return & Exchange Conditions

  • All returns must be authorized via an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) before shipping.

  • Unauthorized returns or returns outside the 30-day period will be refused.

  • Products must be returned unused, in their original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the product is confirmed defective by Salon Xtensions.


Gift Card Policy

  • All gift card sales are final.

  • Gift cards are non-returnable and non-refundable.

  • Lost or stolen gift cards cannot be replaced or refunded.

  • Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash unless required by law.

  • Promotional/ Discounted Gift Cards cannot be used for custom orders. 

How To File a Warranty Claim

  1. Review the above coverage criteria carefully.

  2. Complete the RMA Form [click here] to initiate your claim.

  3. Attach clear photos and a detailed description of the issue.

  4. Await approval from Salon Xtensions before sending your product back.

  5. Once approved, ship the product to the address provided by our support team.

We strive to expedite all RMA requests promptly to ensure your experience remains positive and stress-free.


Final Sale Items

  • All custom orders are final sale and non-refundable.

  • Promotional or clearance items may also be marked as final sale.

  • Gift cards are final sale, non-returnable, and non-refundable (see Gift Card Policy).
